pyromanic
When I bought these two Soobs, (86 parts wagon, 85, with shot AT, new engine, great body interior, had sat for five years), I knew zilch 'bout Soobs, except that I was going to create a reliable, lifted dayly driver. And thanks to all the great folks on this board, this is the progress I have made: Hitache carb de-emmisioned, dead AT swapped to DR 5sp, MSD blaster high vibration coil, TOD (probably from sitting for 5 years) gone, new front wheel bearings, axles, ball joints, tie rod ends, most front end bushings, aquired strange tool to pre-load rear wheel bearings (I'll get to them eventually), full sweep mechanical oil pressure and water temp guages, rebuilt power steering pump (yesterday), And best news yet!: Patrick at Ozzified E-mailed this AM and the lift is ready for payment!! So, theres lots to do yet, but I just wanted to say thanks one more time to the great members of this board who made this project possible. I couldn't have done it without you. And thanks for your patients, you know who you are, I'm a bit eccentric and sometimes a PIA, being an old half crippled grumpy redneck logger hippie biker hermit artist potter out in the backwoods of Central Oregon. Thanks guys. Pyro
