I need some help, I really want to rent a Subaru Impreza, the WRX STI would be awesome, but any impreza would do, I live in the LA area and have been unable to find anyone who rents these. Does anyone know of any place that rents this car????

Try a dealer. Sometimes they will rent you a demo, if they (somehow) get the idea you want what amounts to a longer-term test drive that you are willing to pay for.

I thought of that too, but no such luck with the dealers around here. I really just want to rent for a weekend as part of a birthday present
