93 legacy tape player removal

Featured Replies

how in the world do you remove the tape player? i took out the two screws by the pull out cup holder, but i am afraid if i pull on the plastic it will break. I NEED HELP

You have to pull out the ash tray and you will find two more philips screws, with the heads faceing down, where the ashtray was. You need a realy short subby screwdriver (or use a 1/4" socket with a philips bit in it) Then the plastic comes off. To pull the cassette unit out you have to remove six philips screws, four are easy to see, the other two are set back a bit and you will need a full length screwdriver to get to them.
