chriskatana Posted May 28, 2005 Share Posted May 28, 2005 driving this morning, no faster than 30mph, and my trans locks up.. with a series of lound bangs. i try shifting to neutral to push it, and neutral is now reverse! so what do you think? All fluid levels are fine.. in park, i get park, in R I get reverse, in N I get reverse, in D 3 2 1 I get nothing, wil not move with the eingine running , no with the engine off it will roll. Do you have lights on the dash telling you what gear the transmission's computer thinks you've selected? Either way, I'd inspect the linkage.
