stevetone Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 Iam a new ower of a 93 legacy "L" .auto//(the hornet 2)....i want to change the fluids.....diff/tranny..i need a good brand /and or type........something heavy duty....the rig has 218K... the engine is in great shape....iam heading out to MPLS july 1st .....helping Austin move from seattle. to Mpls..and i want to make sure i use the best .............sparkster:cool: Is there a question embedded in this stream of consciousness? Spazz698 Posted June 8, 2005 Share Posted June 8, 2005 The manual I had for 2 days til I realized it was pretty much useless to me recommended to use thicker oil for warmer weather (I think) My legacy has 10-30 in it and I Live in seattle, our weather isnt exactly steady but it doesnt go from 32 to 80 in 2 hrs. Tranny fluid in an auto should be dexron/mercon ATF says alldata, I cant recall the diff fluids off the top of my head tho. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
