Hey all, first post, i tried searching but i dont know all the engine model#'s and what not so sorry if this has been asked before.

 

I have a 96 legacy L that has bee in a crash and still runs but pretty severe front end damage, currentyl radiator and bumper is shoved into the fan belt and the belt was shredded. I was gonna fix it to be driveable again but i was wondering if the engine that is in the wrx or wrx STi could be dropped in it?

Yes, the EJ turbo motors will bolt in. Be prepared for a lot of wiring fun though. It will involve taking the ECU and all attached wiring out and replacing it with the appropriate harness. Not impossible, but not for the faint of heart either.
