Is there any difference between tha carb and the throttlebody mounts on these two manifolds? My local parts store shows the base gasket being the same. I know there will be some emissions stuff but what about physical mounting?

The physical mounting of the SPFI manifold and carb manifold are the same, Same bolts, same ports. Many people do the carb to SPFI swap because its a fairly bolt on operation.
