Who's Made An Oil Catch Can/Oil Separator

Featured Replies

I'm planning on making a oil catch can/separator for my 1984 turbo wagon, the inside of my MAF is getting super gummed up with oil. By the way, what is the best way to clean out the MAF? I don't want to cruise out to my garage and start shooting brake parts cleaner all over my MAF!

I was just wondering if anyone knows off the top of their head what diameter hose to use for the lines running to the catch can/PCV valve.

Thanks,

Dan

Electric Motor/Electronic Parts cleaner from any hardware store. Just a tip. Let it dry before starting small electric motors or your slot cars,etc- will burst into flame (No Personal Experience :)). Should be fine for the MAF, Mine didn't seem to mind it. On the catch can I prefer Sprite. The green can looks good wedged into manifold :)

any of the hard plastic brittle pcv lines can be replaced with standard 5/8" heater hose
