Just got a new XT Outback Limited and was thinking about replacing the bulbs with some silverstars. Will this make them even brighter? Good idea bad idea?

No, keep the bulbs you have. The silverstars have a tint on the bulb that filters the light. So with the same wattage bulb, the ones with filters will output less because some of the light is being stopped by the filters.
