I have a 95 legacy with 145000 on it and it just started to idle reel fast like 2500-3000 after i drive a little. right off the freeway it runs at 3000+ and it takes for ever to settle down. Can any one help??? Ideas????

Idle Air Control valve. Search the board, you'll find loads of info on how to clean it.

 

Check also for a sticking throttle cable.
