scrapdaddytatum
so if you take a lifted 84 wagon, and you take struts, hubs, axles, inner and outer tierods from a 89 rx( or any ea82 car) and add 1 3/4" to the factory ea81 lower control arms, and you get 3.5" more front track, with hopefully no drawbacks, im hoping to trail the wagon thursday on a supposedly very rough 2 hour climb, if i can find someone to weld up my lower control arms i made tonight ( i made the arms allready but just tacked them together, my welder is to light for these very seriuos welds) i cut the lower control arm and added 1/4" plate to make the extension, fully boxing the arm in the process, my bottom plate extends all the way to the ball joint mount, with everything bolted to the car it looked good, wheels sat flat, with about 2" sitting past the fender, but when i put the front driverside wheel up on the lift, it did not hit the fender, but the trail will tell the true story, but i think i figured it all out, im still thinking i might put a live rear axle in the rear, but that will have to wait for another week
