All of a sudden I have problems with an oil leak under the timing cover and grinding in my left front wheel. I just moved here, and need my car for work...I'm on the road about 140 miles a day.

 

I used to have a subaru-only mechanic who sold and repaired them in a little shop back in NY. It was a beautiful thing.

 

I'm afraid of dealers, although that might be irrational.

If anyone can recommend a good honest mechanic in the upper Connecticut valley of VT and NH I'd really appreciate it.
