Anyone have PERSONAL experience in transplanting a SVX engine (EG33) into a Vanagon. Mine is a 1987 with a very tired 90hp watercooled VW Boxer. Small Car website shows some parts for a conversion. Any websites that tell the story ?

Sounds like fun, conversion parts to mount the EJ22 should work. But I think you'll be looking for a new trans real soon.
