I've been trying to contact Subaru in Japan to get an official year of manufacture for an imported imprezza. So far I have only been able to get an address and they seem very slow to correspond. Does anyone have a telephone number in Japan or an E-mail to speed up correspondance?

You can also ask a dealer who should have it by the VIN too.

The problem is that it is a secondhand japanese grey import therefore no dealer wants to help and everything else is written in Japanese
