I don't know if KYB makes specific forester applications. If they do, I'd recommend them.

 

If not, I know people have taken WRX or STi struts and springs andd used them on their forester.

As far as I know there are only 2 choices when it comes to Forester struts. Stock ones from the dealer or KYB's. Tirerack sells them. I've read that the KYB's are a bit stiffer than stock, but I have no experience with them myself.

I have the 15% stiffer than stock KYBs on my 99 Forester with a WRX rear sway bar. Works well.
