Guest jmr052
Is there only one way to put the center carrier bracket back on? Should it go into the tunnel or outside of the tunnel? Thanks, Jay
Guest alpha0001
if you look closely you will notice that one bolt bracket on one side is slightly higher up from the other side of the center bearing and goes up a little more, and if it was put in the opposite, it would fit out of whack.. anyway it should go up inside the tunnel, and make sure you got it facing the right way (so the drive shaft is straight) if you removed it and are now putting it back on the drive shaft pieces. -Mike
Guest jmr052
Thanks for the tip. I forgot how it went back so looked at a picture in the Haynes and it looked like the bracket was below the tunnel. All I did was drop the shaft to change the tranny. However, I am getting some vibration noise when maintaining speed over 55 or when going faster and having it in neutral. Also the exhaust didn't seem to fit back the same, rubbing/touching the driveshaft. I will get this fixed before going home.
