There's a Gen 1 Brat I'm looking at. Before I buy it, I want to know a few things. How compatible are the Gen 1 Brat components with the EA-81 Wagons? I've got lots of wagon parts, and this Brat is definitely a fixer-upper, so it might be worth my while. Any information is much appreciated.

If it is an 81 GL Brat it would have an ea81 engine in it so that would get you a lot more than an 80 or earlier.

 

The motor and trans COULD be moved if you are willing to fabricate a little bit and such, which you have proven to be good at doing with your Bugs. Much simpler transition than those projects thats 4 sure.
