problems starting wrx

Featured Replies

Anyone help me with my new (less than 3,000 miles) wrx? Sometimes it simply will not turn over? All of the dash lights come on etc., it just wont start...then all of a sudden, it starts... This seems to be happening more often lately...I thought I might get some advice before I call my dealer...and yes, I'm engaging the clutch prior to turning the key...thanks for any information

Check your battery cables. A loose connection can cause symptoms like yours.

But Legacy is right...new car, let the dealer deal with it.

Without doing some more troubleshooting, it'd be hard to say.

It's brand new, just take it back to the dealer.

Thanks, I will be calling the dealer, but I thought I might get a leg up on them...haven't dealt with them yet... not sure how they're gonna be...one thing I have noticed is a small mechanical rumble sound coming from the rear of the car...could my problem be fuel pump related ? I know...take it to the dealer...thanks
