Hey guys.... this is bugging me as no one can tell me... Hoping you guys would tell me!

 

In theory, is that EJ20 & EJ22 Heads has different compression ratios, what happens If I source an EJ20 heads and install on EJ22 engine, would I get increased compression & power hence saving fuel??

 

EJ20 Heads are 9.7:1 Compression whereabouts EJ22 is 9.5:1 Compression but 10 kw difference.

 

Has anyone here done that kind of project? Are there any mods required (ie. ECM etc) & any side effects?
