I have a 05 Outback and one headlight shines slightly higher than the other. The dealer stated they are aligned properly and the are entended to be slightly higher to assist with night time visibilty. This does not sound right. Has anyone else noted the headlights are not quite aligned.??

The passenger side will be slightly higher then then driver's side. This keeps from blinding on-coming traffic.

My legacy is tuned the same way.

 

I have noticed that at most distances it keeps the direct light out of the rear view mirror of the person in front of me as well.
