Shlicker Posted November 25, 2005 Share Posted November 25, 2005 Hey hows it going everyone- Im new to the forums and it seems like youve got a nice wealth of information here for subaru owners. Anyway, ive got a 2001 forester s and ive found that the shifter is rather clunky/ imprecise and id like a slightly shortened throw. Legacy777 Posted November 26, 2005 Share Posted November 26, 2005 I'd recommend replacing the shifter bushings. Kartboy makes replacement bushings that really help the feel of the stock shifter.
