I have an 87 XT SPFI EA82 5spd that has begun its morning ritual of a long puff of smoke on cold start-up so either a rebuild or swap is in order. I have been chasing various threads on upgrades and swaps, and an EJ swap looks like a possibility for more power but what all do I need? THAT list of goodies (and where do I find them) I haven't seen in any of the threads....
