Cruise Control Parts List

Featured Replies

I have a 96 Legacy Breighton automatic and am looking for a complete list of parts to add Cruise Control. I thought I had all the parts but maybe not. The following is what I have installed.

1. Push button switch on dash (lights up when pushed in)

2. Cruise Computer Box (finding the plug was a pain)

3. Cruise actuator pump w/electrical plug (bolted in fine/plugged in too)

4. Vacume tube (installed and connected)

5. Complete cruise cable assembly w/vacume (bolted to fire wall and all connected).

Have I missed something like another electrical component?

Just buy a kit from Subaru if they still have it. It's around $60.

What about the mini stalk that goes onto the steering wheel? The one that lets you set, resume, cancel and tap up and down your set speed?

Oops. I forgot to list that too. I removed the airbag and installed it with no problem. It seems to be moving correctly. Any other thoughts.

Thank You,

Dave
