I have a 2004 wrx with daytime running light and i would like to put hid headlights in. But with daytime running lights it only gives the low beames 60% of power. How can i disabel the daytime running lights so i can hook up my HID lights.

do you have the full HID swap from an sti, or new dealer parts? search nasioc or i-club about disabling the drls... i cant remember specifics at the moment :-\

You may also want to check your insurance regs on your DRL's if they are standard with the car, they will give you a deduction, and by disabling them you could void your policy.
