Good Fix for window streak marks?

Recommended Posts

I used to work in a auto glass warehouse (Safelite), and from what I remember, you could buff them off. Problem is this will end up distorting the glass. If you do buff it, try to keep it cool, do it a little at a time. We rarely buffed on tempered glass cause it's so hard. Windshields on the other hand are so soft they distort really easily.

I think Bon-ami powder is used by alot of car manufacturers to lightly buff the windows before they leave for sale.

I want to get rid of my streaks too, but I figured they would just end up coming back unless I got new rollers or something. I don't know, if you try it, I'd like to hear about your results.:headbang:

Just my 2 cents.
