Well i went to pick up a filter today and the "new" smaller white one (the one that had issues on the F8,9,10) i'm told is no longer and the new filter is Black, reminscent of the other black one soob uses. it's also wrapped in plastic inside a "glue sealed" box....ie you can't just open the box to look at it.

Yup, seems like the AA100's (last digits of the part #) are back in force now. I'll be using one next oil change, they are a good filter (from my reading).
