After retiring I bought a new MB, C320 and pretty quickly realized it wasn't my active life kind of car and after a year of frustrating ownership i.e., poor service etc. traded for a brand new 2004 Outback, LL Bean 3.0 and couldn't be happier with 30,000 great ski miles on it and looking forward to at least another 100,000.

Great to hear! The comments on the board sometimes aren't realistic real-world experiences.

 

If a car runs fine the owners don't complain on the internet, but if it doesn't they find a board like this to complain.

 

For the most part, I belive that the a great percentage of Subaru owners are more than happy with their cars.
