yeah, the car is originally mpfi turbo. but the motor was in the truk when i bought it, and i drove it around with a carbbed spfi motor until i got the turbo motor together.

 

i put on the spare parts, replacing the littlel nougat module on the coil bracket, the coil, the distributor, and the turbo inlet pipe, the ecu, and mounting the MAF to its stock location.

 

i go to start and assume i still have no spark. i has my buddy chegk for spark, she was firin' away" the dist was off 180, so i flipped it around and bam, she fired right up.

 

i have been driving around all last night. the car will run like a scalded dog, but she still misses a bit when she's warm. but the car is vary driveable, and way lots better than before.

 

the big cone filter is still mounted on top so people will wonder what is coming up on them!
