I have a 86 gl wagon 4x4 that is carbed and I also have a 87 2wdsfi

I am think of put the 87 in the 86 or should I wait and invest in a ej2.2

What do you want? If you want to pick up a few HP and better mileage, go with the SPFI. If you want more serious power, go with the 2.2.
