i have a 91 legacy with a bum tranny, and someone on here has a 91 loyale, are they compatable? i think it might be AWD like mine

The Loyale didn't have an AWD trans. They are also a different size. You would have to do some fabrication to make it work.

compatible? yes. easy? not so much... it would require alot of the loyale parts to make it work... flywheel, clutch, and the driveshaft would have to be changed.

You would also need to make or buy an adaptor plate, as the bellhousing is different.
