flat tire questions- review prior to driving

Featured Replies

Just wanted to freshen up the knowledge I have learned here before I go and replace my Subaru's flat tire. 05 LW/MT/ 7500 miles.

Right rear tire had a sudden loss of pressure.

I'm going to place the spare in the right rear position. My manual does not state anything about removing the "FWD" with the spare in the rear (at least I can't find it). The engine compartment has a fuse labeled "Automatic Transmission"- is this the same as "FWD"? Should I even concern myself with the fuse?

The local tire shop is about 1 mile away from where it is currently stranded.

Thanks!

It should be fine to drive. That fuse is for automatics only.

Woops, the car is an AT, not MT.
