depends on how much manual control you want over your carb.if you are a tinkerer,get tha manual choke(dgv5a)

if you like to set something and leave it pretty much.get the water choke (dgv),or electric choke(dgev)comes down to preferance. they are all in the same category .what you should be concerned about is what jets are in it for the primary main and secondary main.there is a thread floating around that will point you in the perfect direction.just do a search on weber.:grin:
