Just put on new tires and realized I need new brakes all the way around.

 

The rear drums are expensive. Would it be cheaper and better in the long run to convert to discs. Can I do so on a 94 4x4 Loyale Wagon?

You can probably find the parts in a local wrecking yard. You need the backing plate, calipers, and rotors from a car with disk brakes. Look for a turbo wagon.

Do you need to change the brake bias when you go to discs? I would imagine that it would increase the braking in the rear. No?
