April 13, 200619 yr Author Skip, the car does seem to run fine, except for the hesitation when given fast throttle (maybe the fuel pump should be a pusher) the valve I was asking about is inside the air filter, this one I don't know where the two vacume hoses go to from the bottom, they may not have been hooked up before hand here's the new filter on
April 13, 200619 yr MAV Air dilter looks rad. The valve I described is in the air cleaner, that's where it measure the temp of the incoming air. Only the hoses (to it and from it to the diaphragm) are plugged in on the bottom of the aircleaner housing. I can get pictures of the valve from my 78 Brat to compare. The hesitation is probably a weak accel. pump not the fuel pump. Pusher or pull push still fills the fuel bowl. Mine runs great.
April 14, 200619 yr Author yeah, if you could post a picture of where the two hoses go, that'll be great how important is it? should I not drive without it hooked up?
