madaterb Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 I just bought an 86 carb'd 4x4 wagon. it failed emissions and I ran the codes. 42-clutch switch and 52 selenoid valve. I have dealt with the EGR system before so I assume it is the valve being shot. I was wondering what the clutch switch or circuit does and would it effect emissions. Thanks in advance.
