Can anyone out there tell me the engine oil capacity for a '95 Legacy 2.2. My owners manual seems to have disappeared again...

97 2.2 is 4.2 quarts...

My 1990 EJ22 has a 4.5 litre capacity

Just changed my 95 2.2- takes 4.2 qts. (from the factory book):banana:

My `92 2.2 was stated to be 4.8 qts; why are the later engines running less oil-anyone know???

I think its because they don't use hydraulic valve lifters - even though these have a tiny capacity.
