well when i plug in the green conectors up by the wiper motor its supposed to turn off the timing advance i thoguht.. well it doesn't do a damned thing in my car for some reason..

 

i even swapped the disty with a good one from a parts car and no difference.. no breaks in teh wireing, nothing..

 

any ideas? cause unless i get this to work i can't really set the timing..

 

its an 88 spfi wagon too btw..
