1998 Subaru Legacy 2.2L 4WD; Why is it so hard to find an after market Reciever dryer for this car. I have ordered two so far and both inlets where to small to accept the current fittings. Do I have to pay twice asa much at the stealership.

That's odd.

 

I've bought new receiver/dryers for my 90 legacy from the parts store and they've been fine.

 

Have you tried a different autoparts store, or just gone back to the same one?
