AC just stopped working. Real cold until it stopped. Clicking noise from Compressor clutch. Siezed Compressor? Any Ideas? :-\

 

Should be a relay on left side of engine compartment that powers the AC clutch. The one on my old 83 GL wagon would get sticky and not work sometimes. Took the relay apart and was rusty from condensation.:-\

 

Could also be that the charge is too low so it's triggering the low charge cutout switch to save the compressor. There may be a leak somewhere. Usually the shraeder valves are shot in the fittings where you hook up the charging equipment. I'd replace them before adding charge just in case.
