Hi guys, great msg board. My wife and I just bought a 1997 Legacy L Wagon 5spd in Silver. We love the car, but she especially is bored to death with the appearance. It's SO vanilla. I'm looking at some 14" all-black or anthracite aftermarket alloys (since it has 4 new stock-size tires, and to keep tires affordable), but I can't seem to find a spoiler for the hatch. Any ideas?

You're looking for a BG5 JDM spoiler. Check on ebay.

 

Go with 15 or 16 inch rims - you'll be happier with those.

I'd love to do bigger rims, but we're having our first back-seat passenger (baby) in late October, and things are gonna be pretty tight $$-wise. Maybe I'll just stick to the hubcaps for now and look for a deal on some take off later wheels/tires in the local classifieds.

Thanks for the welcome, and I'll check that out. I found one from Primitve that would work, too. Also for $120 but a little more racerboy. Stock would probably be better since this is my wife's car primarily.

 

LOL, that's almost exactly what our Subie looks like.. same colour (yeah I'm a Canuck ), same hubcaps... but without the spoiler or roof rack. So dull.. :-\

my legacy gt has the roof rack(more like rails) but no spoiler..
