Xt6 hub to 23 spline 2wd tranny axle questions

Featured Replies

What do I need to do to get an axle xt6 hub to go to a 23 spine 2wd tranny.

Can I just remove the stubby splines and replace them with eithe a 2wd auto XT6 stubby or one from a turbo tranny?

If not what do I need to make a axle that'll do what I need it to?

Thanks!

Bumpity. Another question. Do manual tranny stubby axles just come out like the auto splines? Having trouble getting one out.

you may be able to swap on the DOJ form an AT TURBOaxle since its 23 splines but has the diameter of the 25 spline axles

an impreza 1.8 fwd 5spd axle will work, being the right length for the ea82 and the right spline for the xt6 hub

So an impreza 1.8 fwd 5 speed axle is the right length, has a 23 inner spline count and the same outer as an xt6 hub?

I thought all turbos had 25 splines? So the turbo auto axle was 23?
