Looking for the love of my life, an early Subaru Brat, or an early Subaru 4X4 station wagon.....

 

Please help....I can not forget about my Subaru....I care less about Ferraris, Porsches, all that sucks, even the new WRX's....I want an early Subaru.......

hey i was wondering what sorta front grill your 78 has?? is it a 2 head light or a 4 head light?? i have a 78 as well but i think somone changed the grill and im trying to find out which its suposed to be....

GL will have 4 headlights, DL has 2.

 

in 81 the difference was 1.8 to 1.6 engine, but i think that's just the trim level before that (before they started putting the 1.8 in there).

 

does it have an ashtray and a tach? if yes, it's probably a GL and would have the 4 headlight grill.

 

Also the panel (that's painted.. below the bumper) with have the bottom part of the headlight cut into it if it's the DL, will be straight on the top edge if not.
