lift address

Featured Replies

can anyone give me a web address for getting a lift for a 1992 legacy? i don't go off-roading much, but the thing is so low it's a pain just getting in and out of it. tires now are 185/70/14 and i was thinking about 205/75/14 but don't know if they will fit. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

ozified.com and sjrlift.com are two I can think of.

Depending on how much you're after a simple strut swap to later model Ouback struts yield a moderate lift. In my case putting 98 Outback struts on a 90 Legacy wagon with stock springs and tophats resulted in 1.25" lift in front and 1.75" in the rear. Going to a taller tire adds to the increase. 26"-27" diameter tires should be possible.

This is the poor man's way to lift as KYB GR-2 struts can be had for around $335 shipped from the Tire Rack.
