so my harness in my Brat has been Jimmy rigged SOOOO Bad it's not even funny...(no offense if your name is Jimmy). At any rate, i went and pulled a harness from a ?79? wagon in the yard thinking they would match... NOT the case.... now i've pulled my harness so the car is (-) electric at this point.. now i dont know what to do. I dont think i can make the other harness work as there are plugs missing on it... if all that meant was that a few things wouldnt work on my brat, that would be ok.. but i have a suspision it wont work at all. anyone know of any place that makes a harness i could buy, or does anyone have any ideas? i really wanted to get this fixed this week, so the more help the better! thanks alot!

If you can give me a couple pics of it laid out and how much of the harness you have, I can compare it to either one of my harnesses and my FSM and see what I can come up with!

Awesome.. i'll go take a pic right now. I have the entire harness from my car. Well, except that back part. but i have the engibe and the intside.

ok, scratch that pic idea. my camera wont get a good enough pic to be able to tell what on earth is going on.....so now.... um.... i dont know

Does anyone out there have a harness for an 81 brat by chance? would the harness be different depending on the engine thats in it???? im totally new to this electrical stuff, so please hang in there with me..... thanks

The whole thing? I have an 81 Brat thats been sitting for a few years now, it'll have the harness, can't guarantee its condition, but if you want it, I MAY be talked into pulling it for you.:-\

:-p Well, if you feltso inclined, it would be AWESOME, as i think that's pretty much all i need to get my new baby up and running. As for the condition, well, its got to be better than mine! Let me know what i need to say to talk you into it and i'll say it!!! ha.... no really though, that would pretty much make you my best friend in the whole wide world.
