anyone know if the fuel pump is inside the tank or just on the line of my 81 brat?

should be in the engine bay, on the passenger side up by the firewall, look for a cylinder or block with a coulp wires going to it and a hose going in and coming out

I can't remember which ones were which, but some were on the driver's side of the car by the master cylinder, and some were on the passenger side, down underneath the spare tire.
