September 30, 200619 yr Noob here with a question about wheels. I have an 06 Legacy wagon and I need to buy wheels for snow tires this winter. I would like to buy some WRX wheels from 2002-2003ish rather than the typical black steel wheels that snow tires are mounted on. My question is about wheel offset. Will these wheels work on my 06 legacy? I don't have a clue what the offset matters...I assume it has something to do with clearance of brake rotors and calipers but I don't know? Anyone care to clue me in? Thanks in advance Aaron
September 30, 200619 yr Yep, they should work just fine. 5x100 bolt pattern. All legacies up until now have that bolt pattern and all imprezas up to 2005? have that bolt pattern and offset as well. It's a fairly common swap.

September 30, 200619 yr Theres a link in a FAQ to page will all subaru wheels specs. Go there. In short - offset will not be an issue. If your legacy is GT, I bet wrx 16" will not clear you brakes, otherwise they will probably be fine.
