I'm trying to wire in some gauges boost, oil pressure, and A/F. I'm looking for any suggestions on the best place to get wires into my engine bay and the best place to wire in the backlight for the gauges so that they are illuminated when my dash lights are on. Thanks guys.

the best place... if at all posible... would be through the firewall (ofcourse) but im talking through the little rubber plugs like... where factory wires go... or even... if you see a plug that doesnt have a place to put a wire through.. but its in the perfect location... then you can always cut a X through it and slide the wire through!!!

I went though rubber plugs, passenger side for direct line oil. great spot, and there is even ways to use paths there to hold stuff.

for gauge illumination, your best bet is to tap into the wiring for the radio.

Oh yeah... about that.... make sure that you get the wires correct for the dimmer..... we messed it up once and the guages get brighter when the dimmer is turned down... hehe
