For thoughs who like to wheel Evens Creek here is some info to think about. This might be a hint that we need to step up and take care of what we have as far as wheelen grounds. The mud boggers are probably high on the watch list here. This was taken from the pnw4wda.org website.

Arlene Brooks: Washington Executive Director

"I have talked with the White River District today and the official word is:

The District will not this winter be physically closing the 4x4 trails outlined in the order, or changing the management approach from what has been done over the previous years.

However, as the District prepares for the scheduled "Improvement Plan" for the ORV area - monitoring winter use will be taking place with regards to water quality, erosion, and resource damage.

We are back to square one for the time being - as the PNW representatives and the District personal work together on the management approach of Evans Creek. AB"

So now, what can we do to help instead of gripe? :-\

Mods, you can move this to where ever if needed. You guys need a forum that covers Trails - news, runs and events.
