julianfisher Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 I have a 99 Legacy Outback P0500 Vehicle speed sensor malfunction P1507 Idle control system malfunction (fail-safe) P1540 Vehicle speed sensor malfunction 2 The engine is idleling very rough and I got the following codes. I have found a few treads on this but I haven't found anybody that has posted their fix. If you are one of those folks that has had the exact same problem, can you let me know what fixed it. julianfisher Posted November 11, 2006 Author Share Posted November 11, 2006 Thanks for your help. While I was witing for a reply I tried fiddling with the Vehicle Speed Sensor 2.
