need advice on using OBS strut to lifted BRAT

Ok here is what I have in mind.

 

5 inch lift on BRAT, EJ18 swap 5 lug swap w/old OBS front struts.

 

OBS struts is about an inch taller than the fully extended BRAT strut.

Struts for the OBS will sit taller than the BRATs so I am not making lift blocks for the struts at this time.

 

When it is all put together, how do I know if I need to make a strut extender?
